CALL News

CALL is celebrating after being awarded donations from Awards for All and the Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund.
Cheadle Hulme couple Geraldine and Philip Eagle have become Greater Manchester cancer charity CALL’s newest trustees, having learned about the vacancy when attending CALL’s annual Gala Concert at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Group Support and Activities

CALL provides a number of ‘get togethers’ for people with cancer, carers and family members living in Greater Manchester. These are informal group sessions where people can mix and have a chat. The atmosphere is supportive and relaxed. Sometimes the groups have talks from external speakers as well as relaxation or arts sessions. Transport and refreshments are provided free of charge. At various times of year the groups also go out on accompanied day trips to places of interest in the North West.
