It is hard to believe CALL has been working to support people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses for 30 years but it is true; In 2012 CALL will be 30!

To celebrate we are launching our 30:30 Challenge and we are hoping you can help.

CALL 30:30 Challenge

The challenge is to have at least 30 fundraising events; one for each of CALL’s 30 years. We are a very small team so we need your help. Here’s a selection of ideas but you may have a much better one of your own…

…stage a coffee morning, organise a bring and buy sale, do a parachute jump, hold a curry night, run a pub quiz, call ‘bingo’, run a marathon, hold an auction, sing for your supper, add your idea …the list of possibilities is endless!

Contact us now to register your interest and tell us what event you can organise in your local community to help ensure CALL keeps providing support for another 30 years!

We will advertise your event and post the results and pictures to thank you and your supporters.

Running for CALL in the Brighton Marathon

Sunday 15^th April

I'm 39 and have been running for over 6 years but only recently with the long distance stuff!

I own my own hairdressers ‘Owen Hair Design’ with my wife Louise and we have 7 members of staff in total.

When I'm not at work, I have 3 children, Isaac(12), Martha(10), and Lily (6) who energize me and keep me on my toes at home.

CALL’s ‘Secret Millionaire’ Lee Stafford suggested I contacted you when I mentioned I was looking for a charity to run in the Brighton marathon for. I've chosen CALL to run for as I have lost 2 Aunts to cancer so it's something close to my heart. When it's cold, wet and windy, YOUR donations will help me meet my target of £1000 and spur me out into the grim weather!

The easy bit is running the 26 miles on the day of the marathon; the hard bit is the training to get to that point so donate now to give me a head start!

Don't worry you can still help us celebrate our 30th birthday by becoming a Friend. It's just £30 a year (that's £1 for every year CALL has been around!).

By Befriending CALL your donation will be added to every other Friends donation and you can rest assured that your collection is being put to good use supporting our work in the community.
